Hello to you sweet Mom and family. We are so thankful you are here, and look forward to working with you to help navigate life as a single parent.

When my journey as a single parent started, the support for my son and I was minimal, and it was a scary place to be. It was a life I had not imagined for my family, and quite frankly, did not want.

We had to learn to navigate through a tremendous amount of loss, grief, change, financial stress, and the reality that our family unit had changed, and the uncertainty of the future, and what it would look like for us. I was a small business owner, and a full time college student getting ready to graduate with a business/finance degree, and unexpectedly a single parent that was scared and overwhelmed by loss, the unknown, moving from a comfortable home, and managing life alone with my son, all while wanting to set a positive example for him during such a painful time.

We soon discovered the importance of our relationship with God, and that He was and is our anchor for life. He had been our comfort and guide through some really dark and scary times where we wondered how we were going to make it. God protected us and provided in ways that we could not have imagined. We realized that He was always with us, and still is. That life without the Lord was not an option for us.

I encourage you follow us through our journey, and to get to know us through the blogs, and other content. We are genuine and relatable. We are learning that our story needs to be shared to help others who are going through similar circumstances, and to ease the pain and the unknowns for you from what we have experienced, and now know, in hopes to make your path smoother. Also to remind you there are those who who love you, care about you, and are genuinely cheering you on, as well as Praying for you.

We desire to encourage you, support you, and share with you what we have learned, and how you can overcome the obstacles that are prevalent for single parents and families today; such as financial concerns, self confidence, stress, burnout, etc. We have had to deal with all of these things and more. We are here to help you create a healthy life and home for you and your kids & to believe that there is a brighter future ahead for all of you, because there is. We are living proof.

You will find that we are genuine, compassionate, loyal, and quite funny at times. We are great story tellers, even at the risk of embarrassing ourselves. We love to laugh and share the Joy that God has so graciously given.

We are excited and ready to walk with you, and to be a part of the incredible life change for your family. Let’s do this!
